We would like to welcome as many people possible from the general public to view the artworks in hope of raising funds by the purchase of all artworks in the exhibition. We also welcome all donations -small or large, as every generosity helps. Donations are possible to be tax deductible, where the Red Cross will be able to issue receipts after the fund raiser.
All of the artworks celebrate Japan's culture in its everyday, with a connection to the people, nature and its architecture. The exhibition hopes to provide an insight of Japan, and act as an occasion to remember the impact that the Tsunami has made to their everyday lives.
The distance of being in Sydney makes it easy to forget, but the loss that they are enduring and the future years of rebuilding that Japan faces is overwhelming. We are happy to act as a place of exposure for children and adults alike, to see a slice of Japanese culture.
